Will this work if I'm a one-person mobile operation?
That is exactly who the Starter plan is for. It is $19/month, includes the booking page, the website, invoicing, and the client CRM, and supports up to 3 team members for when you take someone on.
How do deposits actually work?
You set a deposit per service — either a flat amount or a percentage. Most detailers use a flat amount on quick jobs and a percentage on coatings. The client pays when they book, the slot is confirmed once it clears, and the deposit is deducted automatically from the final invoice.
Can I ask customers for photos before I quote?
Yes. You can turn on photo upload per service and set up to five prompts — front of the vehicle, back seats, whatever you need. The photos attach to the booking, so you see the actual condition before you commit to a price.
Can I keep track of which vehicle belongs to which customer?
Every client record holds vehicle make, model, year, colour, size, and plate as standard, and you can add your own fields. Past jobs are listed against the client, so you know what you did last time and what they paid.
Where do my before-and-after photos go?
The business website included on every plan has a gallery you control. Upload your own work with captions — it is the single most persuasive thing on a detailer's site, and it is the one part we cannot build for you.
Does it handle GST for Alberta and other provinces?
Yes. Alberta invoices apply 5% GST with no provincial sales tax. If you work in BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, or an HST province, PayDash applies that province's rules automatically — calculated in parallel, never compounded.
What do payments cost?
Canadian cards cost 3.3% + $0.90 per payment, online or in person on a card reader, Interac included. That includes Stripe's processing fee and payouts to your bank, and it's the same on every plan, with no commission on new clients. Cards issued outside Canada are 4.3% + $0.90.
Can I still take bookings by phone?
Of course. You can add a booking yourself in a few taps, and it lands on the same calendar. The booking page is there to catch the customers who would never have called — it does not replace the ones who do.
Can I text customers reminders?
Yes. Appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and invoice notices go out by SMS and email automatically, and they are CASL-compliant with opt-out handling built in.
What happens after the free trial?
