Questions about the free website
Is the website really free?
Yes. Every PayDash account keeps a business website on a yourname.paydash.ca address for free, forever, with no credit card. It stays live and editable after the 30-day trial whether or not you pick a plan.
What's the catch?
Two things. The footer of a PayDash website says "Powered by PayDash", and online booking, deposits, invoicing and payments aren't part of the free website — those start at $19/month. Visitors to a free website can still call or email you straight from the page.
Can customers book online on the free website?
During your 30-day trial, yes — booking, deposits and payments all work. After the trial the booking buttons are hidden until you choose a plan, and your phone number and email stay on the page.
Can I use my own domain name?
Your own domain (like yourbusiness.ca) is part of the paid plans. The free website uses a yourname.paydash.ca address, which you can share, print and put in your Instagram bio.
Will my free website show up on Google?
Yes, once it has real content: at least two services and a short description of your business. Until then it stays out of search results so an empty page doesn't represent you.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You sign up with your email or Google, build the site, and publish. A card is only needed if you choose a plan after the 30-day trial.
