What has to be on an invoice in Canada

For a GST/HST registrant, the CRA's input tax credit rules set what your business customers need to see. Under $100: your business name, the date and the total. From $100: also the GST/HST charged (or a statement that it's included) and your GST/HST registration number. From $500: also the customer's name, a description of what you sold, and your payment terms.

PayDash invoices include all of these, so a business customer can claim their input tax credits without coming back to you.
