How you get paid
Pay-now links
Every invoice you send by email or text has a button the client taps to pay by card.
Deposits at booking
Clients pay a deposit to confirm, so the money that holds the slot is already in.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Clients pay with the card already on their phone — no typing card numbers on a driveway.
In person too
Take tap, chip and Interac payments on a card reader, recorded on the same invoice.
Paid means paid
The invoice updates itself when the payment clears and the client gets a receipt by email.
Cash and e-transfer too
Record payments you took another way, so every invoice shows what's still owed.

What online payments cost
Every plan pays the same card rate, with Stripe's processing fee and the payout to your bank included. There are no monthly processing fees, no setup fees and no commission on new clients.
| Payment | Rate |
|---|---|
| Canadian card, online | 3.3% + $0.90 |
| Canadian card or Interac, in person | 3.3% + $0.90 |
| Card issued outside Canada | 4.3% + $0.90 |
Pay-now links vs chasing e-transfers
An e-transfer depends on the client remembering, logging in to their bank and typing your email correctly. A pay-now link is one tap from the invoice they're already reading, and the invoice marks itself paid. You can still record e-transfers and cash on the same invoice when clients prefer them.
Payment questions
How much does it cost to accept card payments?
3.3% + $0.90 per payment on Canadian cards, online or in person, and 4.3% + $0.90 on cards issued outside Canada. Stripe's processing fee is included, and the rate is the same on every plan.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Card payments are processed by Stripe. You connect a payout account from PayDash in a few minutes; there's nothing separate to manage day to day.
When do I get paid?
Stripe pays out to your bank account on its standard payout schedule. Each payment is tracked on its invoice so you can see what has come in.
Can clients pay with e-transfer or cash?
They can pay you however you normally accept payment, and you record it on the invoice. Card payments through the pay-now link are the ones that update automatically.
