Invoice questions
Is the invoice generator free?
Yes. There's no sign-up and no watermark. Fill it in, then print it or save it as a PDF.
Do you keep a copy of my invoice?
No. Everything you type stays in your browser. If you tick "remember my business details", they're saved on this device only.
How do I save the invoice as a PDF?
Press "Print or save as PDF", then choose "Save as PDF" as the printer. Only the invoice prints.
What has to be on an invoice in Canada?
Your business name, the date and the total. From $100 before tax, also the GST/HST charged and your GST/HST registration number. From $500, also the customer's name, a description of what you sold and your payment terms.
Can clients pay the invoice online?
Not from a PDF. With a PayDash account, every invoice you send by email or text has a pay-now link, and it marks itself paid when the client pays by card.
